Grupo Empresas Navieras S.A. (GEN) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Camilo Fernández Aguilar as the new General Manager of its subsidiary Portuaria Cabo Froward S.A. (Froward).
He is a Transportation Engineer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the same institution. He has extensive experience in the logistics, port, and agency sectors.
In his new role, Mr. Fernández will be responsible for consolidating the position of Froward’s port terminals in the Bío Bío (Coronel) and Los Lagos (Calbuco) regions, with the aim of optimizing the transfer of solid and liquid bulk cargo.
